Config proftpd with jail on Debian

install proftpd

# aptitude install proftpd

stop ftp service

# /etc/init.d/proftpd stop

config

edit the config file at /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf

uncomment the line

DefaultRoot ~

start ftp service

# /etc/init.d/proftpd start
